Norwich City look to make it three wins in a row in the Sky Bet Championship as they host 11th-placed Birmingham City at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.
The Canaries currently sit top of the form table over the last 10 games with seven wins, while Chris Davies’ side are unbeaten in seven league games, winning four of them.
Philippe Clement’s Norwich brushed aside Oxford United in their last Championship game – winning 3-0 at the Kassam Stadium courtesy of a Mohamed Toure hat-trick. But despite their resurgence in form under the Belgian manager, the Canaries still find themselves seven points behind Saturday’s opponents.
In terms of squad selection, Norwich will be without the same names who missed the FA Cup tie against West Brom.
The Blues are just two points off the playoffs, but also only four points ahead of 16th-placed Swansea City, showing just how tightly contested the Championship has been this season, and how well they have adapted to the second tier after a record-breaking promotion from League One last campaign.
Mainly notable are long-term absences Ante Crnac, Amankwah Forson and Mirko Topic, although there is a doubt as to whether Oscar Schwartau will play after being substituted with a hamstring injury in the West Brom game.
Most notable for Birmingham is that they will travel to Carrow Road without their main right-back, Ethan Laird, who is out until the end of the month with a hamstring injury.

Freddie’s betting prediction
As the odds show, the bookies are finding this a tough one to call, but maybe part of this is a throwback to Norwich’s terrible start to the season and their current league position. For me, given the Canaries’ current winning run (seven in eight), the value is in the 8/5 for the home win.
It’s worth noting, though, that the Canaries haven’t drawn a game since December 20, which makes the 9/4 look quite appealing. Clement’s men will, at some point, draw another game. Maybe this is the one!
