Norwich are not pursuing a deal to sign Napoli forward Amin Younes, contrary to recent reports.
Turkish outlet Sporx reported that Norwich were on the verge of sealing a deal for Younes in a loan move which would have cost the club €1.5m.
The Pink’Un, however, have dismissed the report and claim that Norwich hold no interest in the German international, with the transfer window closing in under two weeks.

READ NORWICH VERDICT
Norwich have already bolstered their midfield options this month by signing Lukas Rupp and Ondrej Duda from Hoffenheim and Hertha Berlin respectively, so it would have been strange to see them go for Younes. Todd Cantwell plays in Younes’ position and has managed an impressive six Premier League goals this season, so there is no immediate need to replace him.
Younes has only started one Serie A match for Napoli, with a further five appearances off the bench, and failed to register a goal or an assist. His lack of form and game time would suggest that he would not be an improvement on Cantwell or Emi Buendia, who has seven assists in the league. This means that it is a deal Norwich should be avoiding, as they reportedly are.
