Arsenal have joined the race to land Norwich centre-back Ben Godfrey in the January transfer window.
According to Football Insider, Arsenal are eyeing up a swoop for Godfrey, who is said to be valued at £25m.
The report also claims that Lyon, Spurs and Borussia Dortmund are keen on Godfrey as they look to strengthen their squads.
READ NORWICH VERDICT

Norwich simply cannot afford to let Ben Godfrey leave in January. He has been the club’s only fit centre-back for the majority of the season and, arguably, the best defender so far. Godfrey’s calmness on the ball and ability to read danger has made him standout in Norwich’s subpar defence this season.
The 21-year-old was excellent in the Championship last season and has carried it on into the current campaign, albeit he has found it difficult at times due to playing next to defensive midfielders at centre-back – which is never easy! It is no surprise to see huge clubs across Europe showing an interest in him, but Norwich have to keep him until – at least – the end of the season if they want to have any chance of avoiding relegation straight back down to the Championship.
