Norwich City boss Daniel Farke revealed his delight following his side’s 3-1 victory over Leeds; a win that puts Norwich top of the Championship on goal difference.
The Canaries produced a stunning display at Elland Road to leapfrog Leeds into top spot, taking the lead after just five minutes through Mario Vrancic’s free kick.
Teemu Pukki netted his 18th goal of the season to double Norwich’s lead before half time before Vrancic grabbed his second to secure the win for Farke’s side.
And the Norwich boss revealed after the game how he believed his side were worthy winners on Saturday evening.

Substitute Patrick Bamford did manage to pull a consolation back for Leeds in stoppage time, reducing the gap in goal difference between the sides to just two goals.
Leeds mustered 15 attempts on goal in the first half but could not find a way through Norwich’s resolute defence, and Farke revealed his side deserved to be 2-0 up at half time.
We knew we wanted to win this game and that showed on the pitch. We spoke about the details at half time to be even better but there was no doubt we deserved to be in the lead 2-0 at half time.

Victory for Norwich means there are just 10 points separating the Canaries at the top of the league and seventh-placed Derby.
