Norwich City are being linked with a move for Real Valladolid striker Jaime Mata.
According to a report from Pucela Fichajes, the Championship outfit are considering a swoop for the 29-year-old as they look to bolster their strike force.
Mata is a key player for his side and has been in good form this season. In a total of 19 appearances in the Segunda Division, he has netted 16 goals. He is the leading goal scorer in the second tier of Spanish football.

Norwich have been struggling in front of goal in recent times, with maverick forward Nelson Oliveira struggling to find the net and recapture his earlier form.
The report claims that although a bid is yet to be made for Mata, Norwich are extremely keen to land him. Although the Canaries are said to be unwilling to meet his release clause, they are willing to spend on the experienced striker.
