The new boss has previous experience of working with the club’s sporting director Stuart Webber, and the two will now join forces as they look to continue to build the Canaries’ youth setup. The pair worked together at all of Wrexham, Wolves and, most recently, Huddersfield.
Following the departure of Richard Money back in August, a new academy manager was needed, and Webber has evidently identified Weaver as the perfect candidate to help the young players at the club develop.
Weaver departed Huddersfield just before the campaign got underway following their redevelopment plans for their academy. Now, though, he will be looking to kick on in his next challenge with Norwich City.
