Young Norwich attacker Diallang Jaiyesimi has moved to League 2 side Grimsby Town on loan until the end of the season, the club have confirmed.

Jaiyesimi signed for Norwich from non-league Dulwich Hamlet in January 2016, but is yet to make a first team appearance. The closest Jaiyesimi has come is featuring for the U23 side in the EFL Trophy, playing three times. He made 20 appearances for the youth team in the PL2 last year, scoring three times. He also featured in the teams cup runs in the Premier League International Cup and the Premier League Cup respectively.

18-year-old Jaiyesimi links up with ex-Norwich ‘keeper Ben Killip, who was released by Norwich at the end of last season, but signed for Grimsby following a succesful trial.

Grimsby finished last season 15th in League 2, having been newly-promoted from the National League. They won their first match of the new season 3-1 against Chesterfield
