The football season is finally back, and Norwich get their Championship campaign underway tomorrow with a visit to Fulham.
Daniel Farke will be hoping to clinch his first competitive victory as the Canaries’ manager, but will know that a trip to Craven Cottage is always a stern test.
However, Slavisa Jokanovic has a dilemma on his hands, with some key players out of contention for their season opener.
The impressive Fulham boss revealed today that first choice goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli is ruled out of tomorrow’s clash with a muscle injury. This means that David Button is likely to be given a starting berth between the posts.

Along with this, key man Tom Cairney remains on the sidelines as he recovers from a long-term injury.
Despite this though, Jokanovic will have some new signings available to him. Aboubakar Kamara, who signed for Fulham on Monday, is poised to start. Along with this, Oliver Norwood and Ibrahima Cisse could be given the nod.
The Cottagers boss, as quoted by Fulham’s official website, spoke of how his team are preparing for the match, along with his thoughts on new signing Kamara:
I am happy with my team. The players are working hard and showing ambition to try and make a good season, and we are ready for the Norwich game.
Kamara is a young player who’s shown great ambition. He’s strong and fast and all of us expect he’s going to be an important player for us in the future.
It’s sure to be a difficult encounter for Norwich tomorrow, but they will be encouraged by the injuries to key players such as Cairney and Bettinelli for Fulham.
