Off the back of Dmitri Halajko’s departure from the post last season, Gill took charge of the development squad on an interim basis. His hard work has now been rewarded, with a full-time role as the U23’s chief.
The academy at Norwich has been somewhat fruitful in recent years, with the likes of Jacob and Josh Murphy being integrated into the first-team squad.
It was an underwhelming campaign for the Canaries’ young guns last term, and Gill will be keen to improve his side’s performances in the upcoming campaign.
The 36-year-old is a well-known figure at the club and is sure to be remembered for representing Norwich as a player between 2009 and 2011.
