Rangers’ pursuit of Graham Dorrans has been well reported over the last month, and it looks as though they have finally reached an agreement with Norwich.
According to a report from the Express today, the Scottish club have agreed a fee with the Canaries over the move, but are yet to be granted permission to discuss the deal with Dorrans himself.
It’s stated that although Rangers were knocked back earlier on in the week with their £1.3m and add-ons offer for the midfielder, they have offered the £1.5m that Norwich have demanded.
The experienced midfielder is evidently a key target for Rangers this summer and it appears as though Norwich aren’t prepared to stand in the former West Brom man’s way.
According to Dorrans’ former teammate Steven Naismith, he is also a Rangers fan, which bodes well for his potential move back to his homeland this summer.
All parties involved will be keen for an outcome to be reached swiftly.
