Reported Norwich target Michael Hefele is set to be offered a new deal at Huddersfield.
According to a report from the Daily Mail today, the Terriers are keen to keep hold of the powerful defender beyond this summer and will reward him with a new and improved contract.
Norwich are reportedly one of several teams keen on landing the German ahead of the 2017/18 season, but the prospect of Premier League football with Huddersfield next season would presumably be attractive to Hefele.

David Wagner signed him from Dynamo Dresden only last summer and he went on to enjoy a hugely successful season, producing solid performances at the back and helping his side clinch promotion to the top flight.
Norwich are keen to add reinforcements to their squad ahead of next season, however they may now need to focus their attention elsewhere as Hefele looks set to remain.
Aston Villa and Derby County have also been linked with moves for the defender.
