Norwich City have reportedly joined the chase for highly-rated Arsenal youngster Nathan Tella.
According to an exclusive report from All Nigeria Soccer, The Canaries are looking to make their move to sign the out-of-favour winger, fending off interest from Reading in the process.
Tella trained with Norwich’s Under-18’s late last month and featured in their 3-0 win over Reading, notching a goal to show for himself in the process.
The report claims that Tella was training with Norwich with a view to sign him on a permanent transfer when the summer comes around, and it looks as though he’s been impressing the staff at Carrow Road.
Tella is set to be released by Arsenal come the end of the season after being informed that he will not be receiving another contract offer from them, meaning that he’ll be seeking pastures new.
The 17-year-old has been allowed to trial with other clubs to show his quality in an attempt to move on from the Emirates, and it looks as though Norwich could be a potential long-term destination.
