Norwich City sunk to a seventh loss in eight games today as they lost 2-1 to Barnsley at Oakwell.
The Canaries traveled to Barnsley in hope of adding to their 5-0 win over Brentford last weekend. However, they were outplayed by the mid table Championship side.
Tom Bradshaw opened the scoring after just 12 minutes when he pounced on a lapse in concentration from Sebastien Bassong at the back to make it 1-0.
Former Ipswich midfielder Conor Hourihane made it 2-0 in the 40th minute. He curled a superb strike into the top corner from distance to put Barnsley well in control of the match.
Nelson Oliveira pulled one back for Norwich in the 52nd minute. The forward smashed an excellent shot in from 25-yards – his second goal in as many games.
It was a dire performance – again – from Alex Neil’s side and here is how we rated the Canaries today…
