Norwich City climbed to the top of the table this afternoon thanks to a five-star performance from Wes Hoolahan. It was another game where it should have been easier, but some true moments of quality gained the three points. Alex Pritchard made his first league start for Norwich and started it well as a pinpoint cross found Wes Hoolahan who swerved around two defenders and Lee Camp before sliding it into an empty net.
Then in the second half, Cameron Jerome got the end of Hoolahan’s cross shortly after Rotherham had a goal disallowed. Ten minutes later, Dexter Blackstock pulled a goal back just before Steven Naismith’s angled tap-in eased our anxieties in the 89th minute.
Norwich could’ve scored more and should be disappointed that we didn’t keep the clean sheet, but just think yourself lucky we’re top of the league!
But, more importantly, how did the players get on today?
