Norwich striker Kyle Lafferty is a doubt for Northern Ireland for the Euros after limping out of training with a suspected groin injury, reports The PinkUn.
Lafferty limped out of Northern Ireland training today, although it is unknown how serious the injury is and whether or not it was just a precaution. He could have been taken off to ensure no further damage could be done.
The striker would be a massive blow for Michael O’Neill’s side, having scored seven goals in qualifying. Lafferty was Ireland’s top goalscorer during qualifying and is seen as their biggest threat going into the competition.

The 28-year-old striker has scored 17 goals for his Country in his career and expected to add to his tally this summer. However, it may not be possible now with his participation in the tournament under threat.
As mentioned, the extend of the injury is not known as of yet, but Northern Ireland will be praying that it’s not serious. The summer could have been a chance for Lafferty to impress Alex Neil ahead of next season.
Although, O’Neill is thought to have said it was a precaution, which may or may not be true.
