In Alex Neil’s press conference on Friday morning, the manager announced that Ryan Bennett will struggle to make today’s early kick-off which is vital for both sides, with Manchester Utd needing a win to stay in the top four, and Norwich being all but relegated with anything but a win in a match day where both Sunderland and Newcastle have winnable matches.
Bennett missed Norwich’s 1-0 defeat to Arsenal last weekend through illness and he hasn’t picked up since, making him a late call.
In other injury news, Timm Klose and Alex Tettey are both still out, and are doubts to make the end of the season, whilst Andre Wisdom has returned to Liverpool following a knee injury against Arsenal.
For Manchester United, Marouane Fellaini serves the first of his three game ban after a tussle with Robert Huth against Leicester. Ander Herrera and Morgan Schneiderlin are also reportedly fighting to replace the big hole left by him.
Norwich come into this game losing their last three matches, scoring no goals in that run.
