Norwich have had a wealth of Irish talent over the years. To celebrate St. Patrick’s day we have selected five of the best players from the island of Ireland ever to play for the Canaries.
Many have impressed in yellow and green who originate from Ireland, but not all made it into our top five. Some of the honourable mentions were Gary Doherty, Anthony Pilkington and Andy Townsend, but they were unable to make the list due to the quality of players that I have chosen for this list.
It’s a shame there isn’t a day like this for Scotland; Steven Whittaker, Graham Dorrans, Alex Neil and Russell Martin would all be mentioned. But, it is just the luck of the Irish I guess!
