Norwich blew a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with a West Ham side struggling with injuries. The Canaries made a good impression for the first 74 minutes after Irish duo Robbie Brady and Wes Hoolahan had put Norwich two goals up, however, the luck of the Irish wasn’t with the home side and Dimitri Payet and Mark Noble’s strikes within three minutes of the other was enough to secure the London side an unlikely point.
The Hammers pressed for a winner and Emmanuel Emenike could have won it had the Nigerian been more clinical, but in the dying seconds, winger Nathan Redmond could have won the game for Norwich but West Ham goalkeeper, Adrian, did enough to keep the ball out.
Norwich will take positive’s from ending a run of six straight defeats in all competitions but will feel bitterly disappointed to not hold on to all three points having lost a similar two-goal advantage against Liverpool two weeks ago. However, on that occasion, the Canaries left empty-handed and lost the match.
