Norwich City play West Ham United in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday hoping to get back to winning ways after a disappointing defeat to Aston Villa.
The Canaries lost 2-0 in an embarrassing display at Villa Park and will hope to put that game behind them. Goals from Joleon Lescott and Gabriel Agbonlahor scored the goals which condemned Norwich to the relegation zone.
West Ham also come to Carrow Road on the back of a defeat after a lackluster 1-0 loss to Southampton. Despite not posing a threat to The Saints throughout, the match sparked the debut of on-loan Fenerbahce striker Emmanuel Eminike who came on as a second-half substitute. The Nigerian, who signed for the Hammers on deadline day, is hoping to hit the ground running and would want to open his account against Norwich on Saturday.
Norwich held West Ham to a draw earlier in the season at Upton Park in a game which contained drama, good play and plenty of goals. Ultimately, Norwich were unlucky not to claim all three points after conceding a late equaliser from Hammers’ midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate. Despite only claiming one point, the game earnt many plaudits from fans from our attacking mentality. It’s safe to say that the mood has changed amongst the Carrow Road faithful now.

According to the Eastern Daily Press, West Ham will visit Carrow Road without a handful of key players, such as Winston Reid, Joey O’Brien, Cheikhou Kouyate and Enner Valencia, who joins already-sidelined James Tomkins, Diafra Sakho and Manuel Lanzini on the injury list.
Saturday could also mark the return of former West Ham winger Matt Jarvis to the Norwich first team. The one-cap England international joined the Canaries on transfer deadline day in September, a loan deal which became permanent on Christmas Eve.
