Norwich captain Russell Martin has spoke of his pride regarding his team’s infamous 2-1 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, describing the win as a “turning point”.
The Canaries carried out the all-important win against United through two goals in either half from Cameron Jerome and Alex Tettey respectively, cancelling out Anthony Martial’s consolation goal for the home side.
It’s a big three points, particularly coming at a ground where they’ve not lost all season.They are a very good team who will challenge for the title, regardless of what people say. To come here and win is testament to the lads’ character and desire.

The Norwich captain spoke highly and proudly of his side as he led them to their first win at Old Trafford since 1989, stating that he believes the Norwich fans now have a team in front of them that they can take immense pride and happiness in.
Today we’ve answered some of the questions which were being asked of us. I think this will be a turning point for us because we got back to the way we want to play and won the game.The Norwich fans have a team they can be proud of at this moment in time. We’ve had tough times, but we’ll always have a go.
