EA released the ratings for popular football video game FIFA 16 this week. Along with Carrow Road being introduced as a playable stadium, the number of Norwich players rated ‘Gold’ doubled from three to six.
The highest rated player for Norwich is Youssouf Mulumbu (78). His rating has been increased by two since FIFA 15. The central midfielder hasn’t featured for Norwich this campaign since picking up an injury in a pre-season friendly. He was Norwich’s second addition from West Brom this summer, joining Graham Dorrans.

Following Mulumbu is left-back Martin Olsson (76). His rating has increased by two. The Swedish international has joined Mulumbu on the injury list, as ankle surgery after the play-off final has ruled him out so far.
4 Norwich players are rated 75. Cameron Jerome (+1), Wes Hoolahan (+0), Sebastien Bassong (+1) and John Ruddy (-2). Many will see it as unfair that Ruddy has had his rating lowered by two, considering he was a consistent presence for Norwich, and played every minute of their promotion winning campaign. Jerome and Bassong have a deserved upgrades, both being crucial forces in Norwich side last season. Midfield maestro Hoolahan remains the same, however if he had been given an upgrade, it wouldn’t have surprised many.
In the higher end of the ‘Silver’ category, Nathan Redmond and Jonny Howson fail to break into the higher tier. Redmond played incredibly last season for Norwich, with killer passes and terrorising opposition defenders, so it is difficult to see how he has remained silver.
