Norwich enjoyed a sensational 2018/19 campaign as they won the Championship title and earned promotion to the top-flight.
The Canaries finished on 94 points, five clear of Sheffield United in second and 11 clear of Leeds United in third.
Daniel Farke’s side were exceptional throughout and only lost six games all season, three of which came in the opening month of the campaign. Their fierce rivals Ipswich, on the other hand, endured a painful season as they finished bottom of the Championship.
Ipswich won just five Championship matches and ended on 31 points, 13 shy of what was needed to retain their place in the second tier.
In the first meeting between the two sides last season, Norwich and Ipswich played out a 1-1 draw in September. It was in the reverse fixture, however, that Norwich asserted their dominance. The Canaries won 3-0 and swept their rivals aside with ease.
