Norwich City winger Emi Buendia has been named in the WhoScored Team of the Month for January.
The XI is made up of players from the top five European leagues (France, England, Spain, Italy and Germany) with the highest average WhoScored ratings throughout the month.
Buendia averaged a rating of 8.15 per-game, with only Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Josip Ilicic and Adama Traore ahead of him.
The Argentine midfielder played four Premier League games for Norwich in January, against Crystal Palace, Manchester United, Bournemouth and Newcastle. He was awarded the WhoScored Man of the Match award against both Palace and Bournemouth, picking up an assist for Todd Cantwell versus the former.
Buendia is joint-top of Norwich’s squad for WhoScored ratings over the season so far, with on-loan Hertha Berlin midfielder Ondrej Duda tied with him on 7.32. Although, Duda has only played three Premier League games so far.
