Norwich left-back Philip Heise has admitted that he could see himself staying at Nurnberg beyond the summer.
Heise is currently on loan to Nurnberg in the second tier of German football after being given the green light to leave Norwich in January.
The defender has not made a single league appearance for Norwich since joining the club in January 2019, featuring in just one cup match against Crawley since arriving at Carrow Road.
Speaking to Bild, Heise said:
The club is a club where I could imagine staying. But that is not just my decision, but also that of Nuremberg.

Heise appears to be enjoying his time at Nurnberg and is already thinking about a summer switch to the club on a permanent basis, but it will be very interesting to see how Norwich handle his situation.
The Canaries completed the signing of 19-year-old left-back Sam McCallum in January, who could possibly be seen as a replacement for Heise.
McCallum will spend the rest of the season on loan at Coventry before returning to Norwich in the summer. This means that Daniel Farke will have Jamal Lewis, Sam Byram, McCallum and Heise who can play at left-back heading into the 2020/21 campaign.
Due to the depth at left-back, allowing Heise to leave on a permanent basis could be a smart move by the club.
However, it must be noted that Nurnberg also have to agree to the deal. At the moment, Heise is the only party who has shown interest in making something happen and all three sides could need to discuss a deal in the summer if it becomes a viable option.
