Norwich are eyeing up a January swoop for Dundee United striker Louis Appere as they look to bolster their squad.
According to TeamTalk, Norwich and Celtic are among the clubs interested in signing the forward in the next transfer window.
The report claims that he is available for a fee in the region of £2.5m, after scoring four and assisting five in 13 starts for United.

Norwich have heavily invested in their youth squad in recent seasons under Stuart Webber and Appere could be yet another to add to the list. The Canaries are always looking to add talent to their under-23 squad and Appere’s performances in the Scottish league suggests that he has the potential to become a first-team player in the future.
However, if Norwich have limited funds to strengthen their squad in January it would be strange to see them spend £2.5m on a player to go in the under-23 squad. Norwich are in desperate need of a central defender and an attacking midfielder to bolster their team, although there have been no strong links to any potential targets at this moment in time. If Norwich did sign Appere, though, it could represent a good investment by the club.
