Daniel Farke has admitted Norwich City won’t stand in the way of Max Aarons joining Tottenham in January.
The 19-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Spurs in the next transfer window,
A report in the Telegraph even claims that talks between the two clubs have already got underway.
Speaking in the same story, Farke hinted that he is consigned to losing Aarons in the near future:
Sometimes a player develops quicker than a club and you have to accept it if a player wants to have a bigger move and that there are bigger clubs in world football than we are.
But there is no financial pressure on us – we don’t have to sell any player even if there is an offer of £200million. We don’t need the money to keep the club going.

Losing Aarons would be an undoubted blow for Norwich, given his vast potential.
Farke is right in his assessment, however – if a player outgrows a club, or wants to leave, sometimes you have to accept that they will move on.
The hope is that the youngster still sees some sort of future at Carrow Road, though, staying until at least the summer.
If he does leave in January, he will be remembered as a special young talent for the Canaries – someone who was so integral to their promotion to the Premier League last season.
