Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has revealed that Grant Hanley could be out for up to eight weeks with a groin injury.
The Scottish international has not featured for Norwich since their 3-2 defeat to Chelsea in August, due to form and fitness.

Hanley was given his chance to impress at the start of the season after injuries to both Christoph Zimmermann and Timm Klose, but failed to grasp it. He made crucial errors against Chelsea and Liverpool, whilst also being at fault for Newcastle’s goal in Norwich’s 3-1 win – his only three league appearances so far.
Whilst Hanley has not looked up to Premier League level, having him fit would have allowed Ibrahim Amadou to play in his natural position of holding midfield. This could have given Hanley more protection at the back and limited the number of errors he could make, although we are unlikely to see this happen now Zimmermann could be back around the same time as Hanley.
