Crawley Town produced the shock of the Carabao cup so far, managing to beat Premier League Norwich City, keeping a clean sheet in the process.
The hosts emerged 1-0 winners in a very embarrasing match for the Canaries, in which Daniel Farke made 11 changes to the side with Ralf Fahrmann, Sam Byram, Philip Heise, Ibrahim Amadou, Patrick Roberts and Adam Idah made their full debuts for Norwich.
The Canaries dominated possession early on – ending up having the ball 75% of the time – but in the 17th minute Crawley broke the deadlock, thanks to a goal that deflected into the net off youngster Adam Idah, a harsh lesson for the striker.
Crawley defiended well for the rest of the game, creating a few chances too, but nowhere near the amount the travelling side created, having 21 shots in total, with four of them being on target. City hit the post and the bar but couldn’t force get the goal they desperately needed, and getting knocked out of the cup by their League 2 opponents.
But how did the players do? Here are our player ratings from the match.
