READ NORWICH VERDICT
It certainly is not ideal that Daniel Farke is, essentially, being forced into picking Hanley for Norwich’s first home game back in the Premier League.
After a disastrous performance in the 4-1 defeat to Liverpool last week, Hanley will need to up his game if he wants to avoid costing Norwich the points again.
The Scottish defender scored an own goal after seven minutes, whilst also failing to win a single tackle, interception or aerial battle throughout the game – not to mention he was dribbled past twice and gave the ball away cheaply in possession.
However, he is up against his former side – Newcastle – this weekend, which could give him the extra motivation he needs to put in a top-class performance and help Norwich get their first Premier League points on the board.
