Norwich got their Premier League season underway with a 4-1 loss away to Liverpool, but there were some signs of promise for the Canaries, despite the score line.
However, a familiar problem did rear its head for the men in yellow as, once again, they conceded a goal from a set-piece.
Virgil van Dijk’s header put the Reds 3-0 up to pretty much end Norwich’s hopes of getting anything from the game. The Dutchman is excellent in the air so these fans all asked the same question, why was he being marked by full-back Jamal Lewis?
Norwich had Jamal Lewis marking Virgil Van Dijk for that corner. Absolutely pathetic. How in this day and age can Premier League sides/coaches show such a lack of common sense? #LIVNOR
