Norwich City are reportedly set to complete the signing of Ibrahima Amadou on loan from Sevilla.
According to journalist Manu Lonjon, Norwich are poised to sign Amadou on loan.

Estadio Deportivo also claim that Norwich have agreed to pay his wages in full and a €1m loan fee, with a €9.5m option to sign him permanently at the end of the season.

Would Amadou be the perfect signing for Norwich? Well, as close to perfect as the club will be able to get before the end of the transfer window on Thursday.

Stuart Webber claimed earlier in the summer that Norwich would have one of the smallest budgets in Premier League history, which has meant the club has had to be vigilant in the market – looking for bargains and loans.
His arrival would also be a statement of intent from Norwich, due to the fact he would become the club’s record signing if the option in his loan to join permanently is exercised next year.
Given that Amadou joined Sevilla for around €14.4m (Transfermarkt) last summer, Norwich bringing him in on loan could be seen as a real coup for the club, especially if Daniel Farke can help him rediscover his best form.
Farke has a proven track record of helping players reignite their careers, with the likes of Tom Trybull, Moritz Leitner, Tim Krul and Marco Stiepermann being prime examples of talented players who lost their way before hitting their stride at Norwich.
So, all things considered, Amadou could prove to be the perfect signing for Norwich before the end of the window.
