Norwich City are on the hunt for a new goalkeeper this summer and Stade de Reims’ Edouard Mendy is one of the names being mentioned in reports from French outlet L’Equipe.
Norwich however, will have a fight on their hands with fellow French sides Marseille, Rennes and Montpellier all keen on the shot-stopper’s signature.
Following their respective promotions to England’s top flight, both Norwich and now Aston Villa have made their intentions clear regarding the player and could make a move to sign him up this summer.
The Ligue 1 side completed a deal to sign Predrag Rajkovic and that has raised doubts over Mendy’s immediate future at the club.
Norwich City keeper Tim Krul made 46 appearances in the league last season, but at 31 and having previously struggled in the top flight, Daniel Farke may be forced to bring in someone to push the Dutch international for the number one stop at Carrow Road.
