Norwich City are thought to be closing in on signing highly-rated Rochdale midfielder Daniel Adshead.
According to Football Insider, the Canaries have agreed a £300,000 fee with the League One side for the 17-year-old and are close to finalising a deal.

The teenager has caught the eye of Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham in the past, however, it seems a move to Carrow Road looks to be on the cards.
Adshead, who turns 18 in September, made 16 first-team appearances under both Keith Hill and Brian Barry-Murphy last season.

Regarded as one of the brightest talents in the Football League, the midfielder has made a total of 25 first-team appearances over the past two years.
The Canaries made some smart young signings during their time in the Premier League previously, securing the services of Ben Godfrey and James Maddison from York City and Coventry City respectively, with both players becoming first-team stars at Carrow Road.
Norwich received £22.5m for Maddison last summer, so securing deals for highly-rated youngsters like Adshead looks to be the way the Canaries will go over the summer.
