Norwich City are reportedly set to sign former Arsenal youngster Charlie Gilmour following his release from the London club.
According to the Daily Record, the Canaries have seen off interest from Rangers to sign the player.
The midfielder was released by the Gunners at the end of last season, to the surprise of many.
While it is unlikely that Gilmour will be pushing for a first-team spot straight away at Carrow Road, his arrival is certainly a smart piece of business as a player with a wealth of potential.

Gilmour, who was recently nominated for the prestigious European Golden Boy award, never quite made the grade at Arsenal, despite being highly rated, although he did make two appearances in the Europa League last season for the Gunners on their way to the final in Baku.
Able to play in central midfield or a slightly more defensive role, Gilmour wil be hoping to prove his worth and get a chance of Premier League football at Carrow Road.
