Daniel Farke has claimed that Jurgen Klopp laid the way for German managers in English football.
Farke arrived at Norwich in 2017 from Borussia Dortmund’s Reserves, and has experienced a meteoric rise to the top of the Championship.
With an attractive brand of football complimenting their league position, Farke has to be one of the most in vogue managers presently in the game.
He believes little would have been possible had it not been for Klopp, however.
Quoted by German publication Welt, the 42-year-old said:
The German coach education is simply good, it is internationally located on a top level and is rated very, very high class,
And of course, then the success of Jürgen Klopp is a door opener.He shows that a German coach just delivers very good work.
Klopp has transformed Liverpool, himself arriving in the wake of Brendan Rodgers’ departure. In his time on Merseyside, few would say the bespectacled tactician has made the Reds any worse, and one of the most storied teams in English football are competing at the top once again.
