Norwich City endured a frustrating January, as they won one of their five matches during the month.
The Canaries were unbeaten in their four Championship outings, drawing three of them, but lost 1-0 to Portsmouth at home in the FA Cup.
A 3-1 win over Birmingham was the highlight of the month, along with 1-1 draws against Brentford and West Brom and a 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.
Now it is time to announce our Read Norwich player of the month. We pick our player of the month based on the number of man of the match awards they accrued.
In January, Tom Trybull was man of the match against Birmingham and Sheffield United and Tim Krul was man of the match against Brentford and West Brom, whilst Kenny McLean picked one up in the defeat to Portsmouth.
Given that Trybull only started the last two matches, we have decided to give our player of the month award to… Tim Krul!

The Dutchman picks up his first player of the month award this season, having been criticised at times this season for his performances.
Krul was excellent against West Brom and Brentford and had a solid game against Birmingham, although he did have a wobble against Sheffield United.
His highlight of the month was a sublime save from Neal Maupay away at Brentford. The ball came into the six-yard box and Maupay headed the ball towards the bottom corner from point-blank range, only for Krul to sprawl and superbly deny the French forward.
