Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira is on the verge of joining fellow Championship club Reading, according to a report on HITC.
The striker is understood to be due for a medical at Reading, with the move expected to be completed soon.
The Portugal international has been frozen out of the Norwich first team squad by manager Daniel Farke so far this season.
A number of clubs have been keen to secure his signature this month but it seems that Reading have won the battle for his services.
Farke doesn’t have Oliveira in his plans at Carrow Road and the forward will be looking to get his career back on track at the Madejski Stadium if the move goes through.
Earlier this week, Reading boss Jose Gomes labelled Oliveira as a “good striker” and he will be hoping that the forward can help his side avoid relegation from the Championship this season.
