Former Norwich City defender Ian Culverhouse has backed young full backs Jamal Lewis and Max Aarons to fire the Canaries to promotion.
Speaking to the Pink’Un, Culverhouse praised the pair, who have risen to prominence this season.
Aarons has become the Canaries starting right back after a great performance against Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup, whilst Lewis continued his good performances from last season.

Back in the 90’s, Culverhouse and Mark Bowen were the driving force at the back of a stellar Canaries side. Now, the former Canaries assistant revealed he see’s similar traits in Aarons and Lewis.
Culverhouse told the Pink’Un:
They have been exceptional. Mark (Bowen) and myself were allowed to get forward and join in – that was a big part of our game, especially Mark. We complemented each other and the two young boys there at the moment are relishing their opportunity, they really are.
Norwich face Blackburn on Saturday, as they look to secure top of the league at Christmas.
Culverhouse, now the boss at Kings Lynn Town, revealed he believes City can secure a top two finish for Christmas.
Yes, I think they will do. I think they have enough there, especially now the manager has been given time and you can see the fruits of it and I think they just play without fear.
They go into games scoring late goals, exactly what we had, and they have that belief. And once you get the thing rolling the belief is always there someone will score.
