Norwich boss Daniel Farke has quelled talk of promotion, despite the Canaries sitting top of the Sky Bet Championship table.
In an interview with Kicker, Farke revealed he believes there is a long way to go in the race for promotion, despite Norwich’s recent good form firing them to the top.
The Canaries scored two last-gasp goals to rescue three points against Millwall just before the international break and will be looking to continue their run against Swansea this Saturday.

However, Farke told Kicker to “stop” when talk of promotion was discussed. The former Borussia Dortmund 2 boss added:
There are still 29 games ahead of us, so it would take almost an entire season to play in Germany.
Farke explained that the Canaries are in a great situation and must enjoy where they are in the table, but they cannot get too comfortable with it.
The German boss also talked about the Canaries style of football, which has been praised by pundits and fans alike despite a difficult start for Farke in England.
We will always be dissatisfied if we do not have the ball. We want to find solutions, even against compact opponents, and it’s my absolute belief that you can only be successful in the long term if you follow a clear philosophy and you work consistently.
That’s our key – and it’s being registered.
Despite a struggle at the beginning, Farke has really grown to the English game. The German boss will be hoping Norwich can keep up their good form when they visit South Wales on Saturday, with a tough test against Swansea City.
