Peterborough will be boosted by the signing of Bassong, who won the Barry Butler trophy in his first season in Norfolk back in 2013.

Bassong was released at the end of the 2016/17 season, after only making nine appearances in Norwich’s first season back in the Championship.
The former Cameroon international made over 100 appearances for the Canaries in his time at Carrow Road, after joining from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.
Bassong spent a time with Watford during his time at Carrow Road, meaning he received two promotion medals after the Canaries gained promotion via the play-offs.
