Pukki forced off with injury in Finland clash

Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki played 12 minutes before being forced off with an injury in Finland’s clash with Greece.

The Canaries striker, as outlined by the Finland national team’s official Twitter account, was replaced by Simon Skrabb after suffering a blow in the opening exchanges of the fixture.

Pukki has been in fine form for Norwich this season and has been utilised on a regular basis by manager Daniel Farke.

The experienced forward was handed the chance to shine once again for his country as they welcomed Greece in a UEFA Nations League fixture.

However, Pukki was dealt a disappointing blow early on and will be hoping that the knock he has sustained will not keep him sidelined for an extended period of time.

Norwich travel to Nottingham Forest at the weekend and will be desperately keen for Pukki to be available for selection.
