Diallang Jaiyesimi is set to miss the rest of the season after picking up an ACL injury.
The winger had been on loan at League 2 side Yeovil Town, and had impressed for the Glovers so far in his loan spell.
However, Jaiyesimi was stretchered off in the Glovers fixture against Milton Keynes Dons after only 23 minutes, and has now returned to Norwich as tests revealed the injury to be an ACL rupture.
The youngster is set to have surgery on Tuesday, with a view to getting him fit for the beginning of next season.
The club have wished the winger all the best in his recovery, as he looks to get back for next season.
