The Mirror claim Norwich and Bolton are preparing to lock horns in a chase for Aston Villa and England winger Andre Green.
The forward is unlikely to feature in manager Steve Bruce’s first team plans this year, and an opportunity to get regular minutes on loan is said to be the preferred course of action for Villa.
New arrivals Anwar El Ghazi and Yannick Bolasie mean the Midlanders are well-stocked in the wide areas, pushing Green down the depth chart.

Making six appearances for Villa last year, Green scored one goal.
So for this season, Green has made three appearances, two coming in the Championship.
Highly rated by the national selectors alike, the 20-year-old has made 20 appearances for England at various age-groups.
Norwich could add Green before Friday’s August 31 transfer deadline, on what would be a loan deal.
The Solihull-native would join other wingers Onel Hernandez and Ben Marshall at Carrow Road.
