Norwich will be without full-backs Jamal Lewis and Ivo Pinto for tomorrow’s season opener against Birmingham City.
Manager Daniel Farke confirmed the pair’s absence in a press conference Friday.
Lewis is returning from a knock picked up in preseason training, whilst Ivo Pinto continues on the road to recovery following a serious injury sustained last season.

The importance of the duo to the Championship side cannot be understated. Making 73 appearances in that last two seasons, Pinto’s presence on the right-hand perimeter of the defence has become a mainstay of Norwich sides, and the 28-year-old was missed after going down injured.
Stripped of the captaincy and linked with a move away, it remains to be seen if Pinto will again play in a yellow shirt.
Lewis broke into the first team last year, and made the left wing-back position his own, ultimately making 24 appearances.
