Norwich are set to miss out on loan target Danny Ward, with the Liverpool goalkeeper set to join Leicester City in a £10 million deal.
Sky Sports report that the Welsh goalkeeper is set to join the Foxes with rumours about Kasper Schmeichel possibly leaving the club to join Chelsea.
Ward had been a potential target for Norwich, as they look to strengthen their goalkeeping options after Angus Gunn’s loan ended at the club last season.

The Manchester City goalkeeper has joined Southampton, with 2.5% of the fee going towards Norwich.
Ward is reportedly being signed by Leicester as “competition” for Schmeichel. However, with rumours circulating around the Danish international’s future, Ward could be seen as the Foxes new number one.
Ward was reportedly in Jurgen Klopp’s plans this season, however, with Liverpool’s acquisition of Alisson for a record fee for a goalkeeper set to be completed soon, Ward’s future at the Reds did not hold much promise.
