Norwich City look set to receive more than £10m for departing winger Josh Murphy, who is close to securing a move to Cardiff City, according to Michael Bailey of the EDP.
The 23-year-old will have his medical with the Bluebirds today ahead of the move after the two clubs agreed a fee over the weeekend.
Murphy scored 11 goals in 47 appearances for the Canaries last season, so his departure will leave a hole that Norwich will need to fill, but they’ll have money available to do just that thanks the the £10m fee.
The winger came thorugh the ranks at Norwich, who he joined as an 11-year-old in 2006 and ended up making his first team debut against Watford in 2013. He came on as a second half substitute and scored just ten minutes into his debut as the Canaries turned around a 2-0 deficit to win 3-2 in extra time.
In total, Murphy scores 20 goals in 107 games for Norwich in his five year spell with the first-team, altough he did spend part of those years on loans to Wigan and the MK Dons respectfully.
