Norwich are close to signing Everton youngster Tom Scully, after the 18-year-old was released from the Merseyside club’s youth setup.
The Liverpool Echo report that Scully, who captained the Everton Under 18 side last season, is close to agreeing on a move to Norwich.
This comes after Scully, along with seven other players, were not retained by Everton as their contracts expired.
Scully made over 18 appearances in the under 18 Premier League for the Toffees, scoring three goals.

He would join a Norwich academy that is currently seeing a lot of investment being put into it, after the club raised over £5 million in an investment bond to help the academy to continue to grow.
Players that have graduated out of the academy include Jamal Lewis, Jacob and Josh Murphy, Rob Green and Chris Martin.
Scully would more than likely join to play for the U-23 side, managed by former Norwich midfielder Matt Gill.
