Norwich defender Russell Martin is expecting to leave the club permanently at the end of the season, as reported by the EDP.
The player still has a year left to run on his current deal and is set to follow Wes Hoolahan out of the door at the end of the season.
It was planned earlier in the year that the player would join Rangers at the end of the season but it now seems unlikely given that Rangers boss, Graeme Murty is set to leave the club in the summer.
He has been a key player for Norwich over the years but it now seems tough for him to have any way back into the first-team plans under Daniel Farke.

Martin has largely struggled since joining Rangers on loan but his future seems highly unlikely to be at Carrow Road, with his tenure appearing to be all but over in Norfolk.
The player spoke about the situation and whether or not he’d be at Norwich next season, hinting that an exit is hugely likely.
I might only be here for another two-and-a-half weeks. I’d like to come back here and get a full pre-season, but I’ll probably have to go and play my football elsewhere.
