Norwich academy graduate Jamal Lewis is relishing the opportunity to face reigning Premier League champions, Chelsea, when they come to Carrow Road on Saturday, he has claimed in an interview published on the club’s website.
Lewis, 19, has broken into manager Daniel Farke’s plans of late after picking up a long-term injury in pre-season and has started two of the Canaries’ last three league fixtures, including his first home start in the 2-1 victory over Millwall on New Year’s Day.
The young full back is pushing for another start when the Canaries play host to Chelsea in the FA Cup, and won’t be daunted by the occasion if he gets given the nod to start.

When talking to the club’s media team, Lewis admitted that they face a tough task but is hopeful of causing a shock.
They are the reigning Premier League champions. They have quality throughout their squad. It doesn’t matter whether they play their first team or rotate, they will always be strong no matter what. It will be a great game for me to be involved in and hopefully we can come out with a result.
The young Northern Irishman has impressed the Canaries faithful in the previous weeks and will be hoping Farke will place his trust in him once again.
