Our man of the match: Wolves (H)

Norwich City fell to a third defeat in seven days as they were beaten 2-0 by Wolves at Carrow Road.

The Canaries lost 2-1 to Arsenal and Derby over the past week and their momentum seems to be well and truly gone.

Before the loss to Arsenal in the League Cup, Norwich were on a nine game unbeaten run in all competitions.

They had conceded three goals in that time, but have now conceded six in their last three.

Marco Stiepermann and Christoph Zimmermann were both rested for the clash with Wolves – Grant Hanley made his first start and James Husband returned to the defence.

Wily Boly and Leo Bonatini scored in each half for Wolves as they moved to the top of the table.

Norwich are now ninth in the Championship and just one point off the play-offs after 15 games.

Picking a man of the match has been hard, with a few players better than others. Grant Hanley, Angus Gunn and James Maddison deserve a mention.

But our Norwich man of the match against Wolves is… Timm Klose!

The towering defender may have been part of a side that conceded two goals, yet he was still a standout in the game.

Klose made three outstanding blocks, including one goal saving challenge, and was composed on the ball when stepping out from the back.

The Swiss international has been in excellent form this season and was unlucky to be on the losing side.
